I thought this time, I’d take a break from Corporate Travel and give an itinerary, instead. Let me take you to my most favourite city in the world: Rome. Where 2700 years of vintage history is blended with the mundane cocktail of everyday life of the 21st Century. Given two weeks, you can hardly do justice to the City; most tourists try to give it five days, before they move on. Of course, you will find tons of information on Rome, in every language of the world; but, let me show you the City, my way – Rome in six days.

Mano Chandra Dhas, Principal Consultant and Managing Partner, of Coromandel SAS, has over 40 years of experience in front-line Travel. It includes experience in India, Bahrain, The United Arab Emirates, Middle East and West Asia. He has worked with Singapore Airlines, Alitalia, Thomas Cook, Dnata – HRG Travel and Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), UAE. He spent 35 years of his working life in the Arabian Gulf, where set up and managed BTI Middle East and West Asia (known today as HRG Middle East and West Asia) in 14 countries, for Dnata (Emirates Airlines Group), the Regional Managing Partner. In his final assignment in the Gulf, as Country Manager of CWT, United Arab Emirates, he managed a throughput of over 100 million US Dollars per annum. Being involved in international Travel consolidations, he interacted with several major multinational companies in setting up their service configuration for the Gulf. Known for his stolid integrity, his major strengths are Account Management, Relationship Management and Service Delivery. Mano lives in Bogotá, the Andean capital city of Colombia.
